Overview

The Digital Twin brings OceanX's data together into one full-globe visualisation tool. You can move from a view of the whole planet down to the seafloor at a single dive site, with every dataset rendered accurately in place. The aim is a single tool for any kind of ocean data, where everything can be seen in one place at the same time, with easy-to-understand visuals for what is directly measured and what can be inferred. The globe is rendered realistically, so the data sits in a recognisable version of our planet rather than an abstract chart. That makes the same tool useful to a scientist comparing datasets, a decision-maker assessing an area for protection, or a student seeing ocean data for the first time.
